Fellow adventurers of the majestic interweb machine, your assistance is needed! For the past few years, Doritos has had a competition where lovers of Nacho Cheese deliciousness and Cool Ranch connoisseurs can submit commercials for a chance to have them aired on the Super Bowl, *ahem* and win a ton of cash *cough*. This year, The Geek Hq decided to take a crack at it. Read more

Here’s the official synopsis:
20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
‘The World’s End’ hits USA theaters August 23, 2013. …must resist urge to stow away on a plane to the UK to see it in July…ahem after Comic Con of course.
Before they were incorporated, they had to be educated. Disney and Pixar announced they were going to be making another Monsters Inc movie quite some time ago, and after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, it finally seems like it’s going to be released this summer.
Monsters University has the return of Mike and Sully, and yes John Goodman and Billy Crystal have returned to voice them as well. In this prequel, “Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.” – Disney/Pixar
Monsters University is set to release this summer. Check out the trailer below.
The Fast and Furious franchise has steadily grown more and more outrageous with over the top action and “did that just happen?” moments. Fast and the Furious 6 seems to push that craziness to a whole new level. I mean seriously, there’s a freaking tank haulin’ ass down a freeway crushing a Mustang, all while some dude is jumping from it to another car. And that’s just the tip of the madness iceberg. Check out the trailer and you’ll see what I mean.
The new Call Of Duty: Black Ops trailer features a familiar face as “The Replacer”. As one would assume, he replaces you in your everyday life so you can enjoy all the new Revolution DLC from Black Ops 2, but he explains it a little but better in the awesome video below.
The Revolution DLC will include multiplayer maps Downhill, Grind, Hydro and Mirage, as well as co-op zombie map Die Rise. You will also have access to an all new multiplayer weapon. And for the first time ever, players will “get to be a frickin’ zombie” in Turned mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC will launch on Jan. 29 for Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow.
Here’s a little something to distract you from the world bursting into flames or whatever tomorrow.
Guillermo del Toro didn’t end up directing The Hobbit, which we are all extremely thankful for because it allowed Peter Jackson to step back into the ring. We’re also extremely excited because it allowed del Toro to make Pacific Rim… and it looks sick!! Basically, this movie is what Godzilla, Transformers, Battleship, and Cloverfield all wanted to do. While I love each of those movies in their own regard, I can’t help but think this movie will fulfill every childhood imagination from the days of playing with toys my room. Giant Aliens Vs. Giant Robots? Sure, sounds like a production done by The Asylum, but with the director of Pans Labrynth and Hellboy behind it, I can’t help but hype it up to the fullest.
